107. Jacksonville - Arizona WR Mike Thomas - They’ll start out developing him as a slot receiver, but once they see his game, he’ll start.

109. Green Bay - Eastern Michigan OL TJ Lang - He can play all five line positions, he’s tough, mean, quick, strong, and fantastic fit in the Packers zone blocking scheme.

119. Chicago - Vanderbilt CB DJ Moore - Why oh why did he fall to the fourth? As Marc said, if Gilbert and Moore had been the Bears first day, you couldn’t really argue with that. Even if Moore has some black mark on his character record, now he has something to prove.

121. Buffalo - Southern Miss TE Shawn Nelson - Need, value, and a player who is a better blocker than you’d think a 6’5” 240 TE would be.

134. San Diego - Colorado State RB Gartrell Johnson - Johnson has a future! He’ll be the between the tackles grinder to extend LTs career.

Lawrence Sidbury may be a pup, but when PFW reported that scouts take, the scout was warning against taking him in the first two rounds. Put Sidbury next to John Abraham on third down and he’ll earn the capital used to make this pick in this first half of his first season.

Dallas takes Victor Butler at 110 when Zack Follett is still on the board? Butler isn’t very sudden or strong and seems like bottom of the roster depth at best.

Miami takes Brian Hartline at 108 when Kenny McKinley and Jarett Dillard and Austin Collie and Aaron Kelly and Louis Murphy are still on the board? Hartline is stiff and he doesn’t play up to his combine numbers.

New Orleans takes Stanley Arnoux at 118 with Jason Phillips, Darry Beckwith, Frantz Joseph, and Jasper Brinkley still on the board? Arnoux is uninspiring physically and a two down LB who isn’t truly a thumper against the run.

Hopefully this will end the string of decrepit backup QBs that is running through Dallas. Only Pat White is more athletic than McGee in this QB class, and his makeup and intangibles appear to be NFL quality. We were sold on him at the Shrine Game - see what we saw:

James Casey, TE, Rice - The Bengals and Giants will rue the day that they took Coffman and Beckum over Casey

Cedric Peerman, RB, Virginia - Maybe he’ll never be a starter, but he’s clutch, versatile and a high character player.

Macho Harris, CB, Virginia Tech - Corners with bigger deficiencies have already gone. Harris will light the fire of the defense he lands on, and he’ll have an extra big chip on his shoulder now.

Jamon Meredith, OT, South Carolina - I guess his reputation as a soft player is killing his stock, because he’s big, quick, strong, and he moves very well.

Shawn Nelson, TE, Southern Miss - Another TE that is better than the pair that went at the end of the third, and he might even be a three down TE.

Mike Thomas, WR, Arizona - Speed, toughness, ups, and budding return skills to boot.

Jarett Dillard, WR, Rice - Mark it down, steal of the draft. The NFL is too obsessed with speed and height at WR.

DJ Moore, CB, Vanderbilt - What is wrong with this guy that he’s falling this far? Was he on the list of positive tests at the combine?
